Swine Flu Vaccine Recall in Canada | SwineFluFAQ.RDLHK.comAccording to Canada’s health minister, there are 6 people who took the Swine Flu vaccine have reported serious allergic reaction in Canada. Doctors in Canada have been advised not to use a batch of 170,000 swine flu vaccines. According to GlaxoSmithKline PLC, there are no similar reports from other countries.

Company spokeswoman Gwenan White said that GlaxoSmithKline PLC advised medical staff in Canada last week to avoid using a batch of the Swine Flu vaccine while they look into reports that it might have caused more allergic reactions than normal.

Garlic Price rise due to Swine Flu

purple_garlicIn China, the price of garlic has rise rapidly. In Guangzhou, garlic price has rise 10 times (from US$0.1/kg to more than US$1/kg); moreover, purple garlic are selling for more than US$2/kg (which is more expensive than pork (around US$1.8/kg).

People believe that garlic is good for killing germs and it can also prevent Swine Flu (H1N1 Influenza). This is why there is a high demand of garlic and the price has gone up alot.
